" Implementing STS Curriculum: From University Courses to Elementary Classrooms" article reflection
In this article I understand what is the main idea behind STS school curriculum and how can this curriculum be applied to students. As we discussed in our class discussion session and as most of our friends advocate, the aim of the curriculum is to provide real-world connections for students between their class environment and outside the class environment. In other worlds this curriculum aims to help students to make connections between their learning and their society. Here as I understand from the article, students should identify the problems that can be arised in their societies, even in the world. By helping them to identify these potential problems, this curriculum aim to encourage students to find alternative solutions to these caotic problems.
An important problem in the application process of this STS curriculum is the capacity and abilities of teachers. Their lack of knowledge and work effort on the application of STS curriculum is a big problem. As it is mentioned in the article, STS curriculum is just a project now and Northern Illions university is studying on this project. There are some problems with this project and these problems are detected especially on preservice teachers. They need more training and knowledge about STS school curriculum. Also the new investigations and innovations that bring solution to the socail and caotic problems should be determined with a special work and research.

"A FUTURE for STS" article reflection
This article mainly implies the future of science, technology and society by considering our resources and their future effects on the development of science, technology and society. Additionally, in the absence of resources these interdiciplines are also effected. As it is mentioned in our previous articles, science and technology determine the shape and position of our society. Even it has a great effect on people needs and determine who we are and what we want from our society. I also strongly agree with the statement in the article that is related with the dialogue between all disciplines. These dialogues help our future scientist about lots of topic that determine our energetic resources especially petroluem products and fossil fuels.
In my opinion this is not enough to create such a dialogue and not to do any activity for determined topics. Especially, energy related topics. As it is mentioned in the article these strong relationship between all disciplines also helps people to understand the social effect of science and technology better. Also I agree with the article about the publishing point of these dialogues and meetings on bullet in of science, technology society.

SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND THE FUTURE
This chapter is a good oen that we can discussed at the end of our lecture hours. All of the 10 chapters that we discussed before related with science, technology and effect of these to important topic with other disciplinces. Additionally, the ethic concept and responsibilities are also discussed. However, in this chapter, we should focus on the future outcomes of these scientific and technological developments. On an optimisitc way, we hope that these developments will make our world better and better. However, as it is happen before and is still happening now, some countries and scientist and politicians will surely use their technological and scientific power againts the humanity and world chaos.
At that point, not only scientist or other people that try to make technological innovations have responsibilities, but also other people especially education related people such as teachers are responsible. As we discussed in our class discussion session, teachers should educate and help students to create their own ethical knowledge about science and technology and their effects on society. Additionally, we should strongly consider that the future scientist will be created from our students. For this reason, we should be very careful about these topics while we are educating our students. I think and I hope the discussion in the class about this chapter will be more exciting then the others.
